Meet Naboo
Naboo's story began before she was even born. Her mother, Padme, was rescued from the slaughter pipeline in Oklahoma and safely transported all the way to Healing with Horseplay in Minnesota. Just three weeks after arriving, she surprised everyone by giving birth to a beautiful chestnut filly we named Naboo.
Born into safety because of compassionate supporters, Naboo has never known the fate her mother narrowly escaped. Today, she spends her days playing, growing, and charming everyone she meets with her sweet personality and adorable antics.
Naboo is a reminder of why rescue matters. Without intervention, neither she nor her mother would have had the chance at the life they enjoy today. Your support helps make stories like Naboo's possible.
Silver
Meet Silver, our distinguished 18-year-old pony with a heart as golden as his name. Rescued in 2023 after being surrendered by his previous owner, Silver quickly found his true calling. Within a year, he was not just participating in, but leading our unique Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program, TRIBE. Dedicated to helping at-risk youth from under-resourced communities, Silver has become an essential figure in guiding these young individuals towards brighter futures.
Most recently, Silver spearheaded programs to support children and young adults with shortened life-expectancies, and to their families who love them. He is a leading example of the incredible healing power horses have.
